haui

A smartwatch companion that helps active dog owners understand their dog's needs.

haui is a digital product concept designed for active people who care for a dog and want to better understand its daily needs. The app works with data from a smart collar and transforms it into simple, useful guidance through a smartwatch interface.

The project focuses on moments when a person is busy, travelling or unsure how to read the dog's behaviour. Instead of overwhelming the user with complex data, haui communicates the dog's condition, health and needs through clear notifications, calm interface flows and voice assistance.

Created as a bachelor thesis project, haui became part of a larger connected mobility concept focused on travelling with a dog. The smartwatch app is designed to work within an ecosystem of a smart collar, wearable interface and vehicle infotainment, supporting better care both in everyday routines and on the road.
